It has come to our attention the minimum two week period date range as stipulated by Service NSW to measure the decline of turnover of 30% or more due to the Public Health Order has changed for both the 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grant & JobSaver Payment.
The changes are as follows:

the same period in 2020, or
the 2-week period immediately before the Greater Sydney lockdown commenced (12 June to 25 June 2021)Â
JobSaver Payment

Where to from here
You will need to:
1. If you haven’t already submitted a grant or JobSaver application, determine if you have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more in line with the above listed new date ranges, as you may now be eligible to apply.
Â
2. Contact us if you require our assistance in calculating the decline in turnover. If you need our help in calculating the decrease in turnover, please:
Â
Get your accounting software or data file up to date - to and including today's date.
If you don’t have an accounting software package, please forward us your bank statements for the periods 12 June 2021 to 25 June 2021 & 26 June 2021 to 28 August 2021  & 26 June 2020 to 28 August 2020 & 26 June 2019 to 28 August 2019
Please note that for those clients we had initially been assessed that your business had not experienced a 30% or more decline in turnover, we will need to reassess your turnover with the new date ranges. You may now be eligible for the Grant or JobSaver payment.
Â
Also, regarding the JobSaver Payment, if a 30% or more decline is not currently reflected in your sales figures, we have to up the 28 August 2021 to determine if the decline is reflected then.
Â
3. For those clients that have already submitted a 2021 Covid-19 Business Grant with Service NSW & did not receive the maximum $15,000 grant. In light of the new date ranges listed above, please review if you have experienced a 50% or more decline in turnover for the $10,500 grant amount or a 70% or more decline in turnover for the $15,000 grant amount.
After reviewing your turnover and you did, in fact, experience a 50% or more decline or 70% or more decline. Please get in touch with service NSW to resubmit your application.
Â
We have been advised by Service NSW the steps to resubmit your application are as follows:
Call Services NSW and redraw your original application, even if you’ve received the money.
Service NSW Â will then email you asking for confirmation of your application withdrawal. Â
Service NSW will then send the application withdrawal to a manager who will go to a department to reset your ABN Â - this may take a few days.
You can then reapply once your ABN is reset.
If you have already received the grant, you will receive a call /email from the finance department re:Â returning the monies received. Please note you may need to return the old funds before you can receive the new funds.
