If you've been impacted by the February and March 2022 storms and floods, you may be eligible for the Back Home grant, a one-off payment of up to $20,000.
The eligibility criteria for the Back Home grant have been expanded. Owner Occupiers If you own and occupy a dwelling in a residential land lease community and are considered a homeowner, you can apply for a $20,000 grant. Owner-occupiers of a dwelling in a residential land lease community can apply on the Service NSW website. Tenants If you're a tenant living in a separate dwelling to the main dwelling (for example, a granny flat), you can apply for a $5,000 grant, even if the owner-occupier of the main dwelling has already claimed a $20,000 grant. Applications for tenants living in a separate dwelling to the main dwelling will open soon.
