This event aims to inspire discussion about the future of business and liveability as Parramatta evolves into a Global City, says Luke Magee, President of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce.
Guest Speakers included The Hon David Elliot, MP, Minister for Transport, Veterans and Western Sydney, representing the Premier of New South Wales. David outlined the Government’s commitment to Parramatta and the Western Sydney region, with the delivery of vital infrastructure for the west, from motorways, metros and light rail to world-class schools and hospitals, and new community infrastructure to improve liveability delivered via the innovative $5 billion West Invest fund.
Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Parramatta, Clr Sameer Pandey, shared the council’s updates on Parramatta, including the recent opening of PHIVE, the new community, a cultural and civic hub in the heart of Parramatta’s CBD.
“SOTC is the acknowledgement and celebration of the evolution of the City of Parramatta in becoming the Headquarters of Business in the Western Sydney region,” says SOTC Chair Anthony Mazza.
